About Us
Mystic Owl Sporthorses is a family owned business, run by Jane and Bob Buyny. Bob helps out on weekends and evenings, but works full-time as a chemical engineer. Jane works full time at home with the horses. Daughter, Alexis, helps as she has time and is a superb rider, competing from the time she was six in eventing, jumpers, and dressage. She worked for two seasons as an auction rider for Glenwood Hanoverians. We have been breeding sporthorses for 12 years, and began focusing on Hanoverians six years ago when we acquired Kashmere. We bought Sandrina from Spruce Meadows five years ago, and bred her the following year.
